Summer Camps

For decades, Norman Bird Sanctuary has welcomed hundreds of campers to our award-winning Summer Camp each summer. Our age-appropriate and innovative camps offer a unique blend of hands-on learning, games, animal encounters and team building. Camp groups utilize our outdoor classrooms and are held in small groups with caring, enthusiastic, and professional Teacher Naturalists. Check back for Summer 2025 dates.

We offer the following camps on an annual basis. Registration for 2025 is currently closed. Registration will open February 27 at 8:00 a.m.

Scholarship Forms

Norman Bird Sanctuary strives to serve everyone in our community, regardless of financial circumstances. A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available. Full scholarship applications must be received by June 2 and applicants will be notified by June 16. Partial scholarship applications must be received by June 30 and applicants will be notified by July 14. Awards are based upon need and the number of spaces available in camp programs. All information will be kept confidential.
