Norman Bird Sanctuary is dedicated to providing first-in-class education programming that encourages stewardship and climate action with year-round, place-based, hands-on, interactive and all-age events, field trips, camps, and workshops.

Education Programs

Through year-round programming, Norman Bird Sanctuary equips budding naturalists with the environmental knowledge to foster a hands-on, child-centered exploration of our beautiful campus.

For six decades, Norman Bird Sanctuary has welcomed hundreds of campers to our Summer Camp. Our age-appropriate and innovative camps offer a unique blend of hands-on learning, games, animal encounters and team building.

Take your learning outside of the classroom and make connections in your community! NBS offers a variety of semester-based internships, and we will work with you to obtain academic credit from your college or university.
