February Vacation Workshop: Owl Adaptations

This event has ended

Wednesday, February 19, 2025 9:30am - 11:30am

Norman Bird Sanctuary

$25 Members, $30 Non-Members

Join us this February Vacation for two-hour workshops happening twice a day. Workshops will be offered from 9:30 am – 11:30 am and 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. Join us for as many as you like! Parents are welcome to drop their participant off for the 2-hour program. Unfortunately, childcare is not provided outside of the workshop. Participants must be 7 and older and dressed for a short winter hike.

Hoot Hoot! In this workshop, participants will learn what makes owls successful in the wild. Owl diets will also be explored through hands-on dissection of an owl pellet! Pellets are leftover food that owls are unable to digest. By observing owl pellets closely, we can learn a lot about the foods they eat and the other animals that can be found at the Sanctuary.
