Discover the Secret Life of Meadows: A Guided Pollinator Hike

Saturday, April 25, 2026 10:00am - 11:00am

Norman Bird Sanctuary

Free, No Registration Required

Ever wonder who’s buzzing through the tall grass? Join us for an immersive guided hike to the NBS’ new pollinator meadow to learn about the busy residents that keep our ecosystem blooming.

From the majestic Monarch to the hardworking Bumble Bees, you’ll learn the art of "pollinator spotting." We’ll show you how to identify local species, explain the fascinating "Bloom Bridge" that keeps them fed from spring through fall, and share how our citizen science research helps protect these essential neighbors.

Whether you're a budding naturalist or just love a morning in the field, come discover why a healthy meadow is more than just a pretty view—it's a vibrant community of biodiversity!
