We are excited to invite you – our members,supporters, and friends – to help us as we participate in the City Nature Challenge (CNC) for the first time ever. This global community science competition is designed to document urban biodiversity annually. This year it will take place from April 24– April 26.
During this special three-day challenge, participants will visit the Norman Bird Sanctuary and document as many species as they can using the iNaturalist app. This free app is a worldwide repository of data that provides information about our local ecosystems as well as trends over time. This data will help organizations like ours manage and protect habitats and species for years to come. Learn more.
