The Welcome Center is looking for outgoing, cheerful individuals to help out at the front desk to greet visitors, answer phones, and ring in sales in the Owl Shop. We also need help with data entry, mailings, and other administrative tasks. If you like computers (and they like you), we encourage you to contact us! You must like people (big, little, and in between) & nature! We will provide on the job training as needed.

When: Weekdays: 9am – 5pm (hours are flexible)

With 325 acres we are always in need of help with trail maintenance, stone wall repair, weeding, raking,…

Mabel’s Gardeners are a group of volunteers who maintain the walled garden by Paradise Farmhouse (home to our benefactor, Mabel Norman) Like to get your hands dirty? This is the job for you!

Interested in working with Animals?

Join the Norman Bird Sanctuary to become an animal care volunteer!  We need dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to help us care for a variety of education animals, including reptiles, amphibians, and mammals.  No prior experience is necessary.

Schedules and assignments are flexible, though volunteers are asked to commit to a weekly or biweekly schedule.  Volunteers must be 18 or older.  Training is provided.
