We offer students opportunities to gain real-world experience in conservation research, science communication, and environmental education while supporting the Norman Bird Sanctuary’s mission to spark curiosity, inspire stewardship, and foster peace and joy in nature.
Our internship programs offer hands-on, field-based learning for undergraduate students and recent graduates. Each internship provides practical training in professional methods, tools, and communication techniques while encouraging creative problem-solving and collaboration.
Through guided mentorship and meaningful project work, interns develop the knowledge and confidence to pursue careers in conservation, environmental education, and science communication.
