Norman Bird Sanctuary Classroom

$20 Adult Member, $10 Child Member, $25 Adult Non-Member, $12 Child Non-Member

Join us for a very special Raptor Roundup! Meet our Red-tailed Hawk and search for other birds of prey as we learn about the traditional ecological knowledge surrounding native raptors with special guest, Silvermoon LaRose. Learn about the different raptor species found in Rhode Island and how they are adapted to live in particular habitats and hunt certain prey.

You'll hike through a variety of habitats in search of wild raptor species such as Red-tailed Hawk, Cooper's Hawk, Osprey, and even stop to listen for owls.
