Memberships: A current NBS family membership (valid through August 31, 2015) is required to attend NBS summer camp. Memberships can be added during online registration or in person at the NBS office.

Late Pickup/Aftercare: Parents MUST call the main office (401-846-2577) if they will be delayed. After 3 p.m., there will be a $5 charge for the first 15 minutes. If more than 15 minutes late, parents will be charged for after care at a rate of $10 per hour with a minimum of 1 hour charge. Aftercare is available Monday – Friday 3:00-5:00 p.m. and must be registered for in advance. If attending aftercare, please provide a second snack for your child.

Behavior: Camp guidelines for safety and behavior are established within each group at the beginning of the camp week. If NBS staff members have concerns regarding your child’s actions or behavior, we will let you know as soon as possible, and will work with you to resolve the issue. If the behavior does not improve and becomes dangerous to your child or to others in the class, they may be asked to leave camp for that week. In such cases, no refunds will be given.

T-shirts: All campers attending Coastal Camp must wear an NBS T-shirt when attending off-site programs. We will provide the first t-shirt, but you may wish to purchase more than one t-shirt if your child will be traveling off-site for more than one program.

Special Friends: We make every effort to honor friend requests, but they are not guaranteed. Please note that we can only honor Special Friend Requests when both children are registered for the same camp program. We cannot honor requests for campers enrolled in different programs, even if they attend the same camp week.

Forms: ALL forms must be submitted to the NBS office no later than June 1, 2015. This year, all camper information and medical forms will be completed at registration through CampInTouch. Note that your child will not be able to attend camp unless all necessary forms are on file.

What NOT to bring: We ask that campers leave pocketknives, music devices, gum, cell phones, electronic games, portable music players, sporting equipment, toys and any items of value at home. Weapons, illegal drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and pets are not permitted on NBS property.
