Voted “Best 5K” by Rhode Island Monthly Magazine

Now’s the time to register for the 11th Annual NBS 5K in honor of David Leys, Jr., a Father’s Day Weekend tradition and the perfect family activity. Run, walk, or jog your way past scenic vistas of field, ridge and beach while the birds cheer you on! Kids can join the fun by registering for the Frosty Freez Kids’ Run.

In addition to being a major fundraiser for Norman Bird Sanctuary, the 5K honors David Leys, Jr., a native islander who was a force behind the race from its inception, and a great supporter of NBS. Diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2012, participants are given the opportunity to make a donation in support of Dave’s ongoing care.

Don’t miss out on scrumptious breakfast offerings by Scratch Kitchen provided for purchase from 6:45 to 11am. And the fun doesn’t end after the race. Join us back at the Sanctuary for music by DJ Butch, refreshments, and the awards ceremony. Please be aware there are NO DOGS ALLOWED (per NBS policy) thank you.

Registration $25, after June 1 $30, Kids Fun Run $5.
